If you take advantage of the recurring billing feature and/or store customer profiles in the CardPointe Virtual Terminal, there is a new feature designed to help make your day a little easier. The new maintenance service tracks out-of-date card information, such as expiration dates and card numbers.
How Does This Feature Work?
The system reviews and updates information daily, reducing the amount of declines, to avoid any recurring payment interruptions. This is a computer automated service that requires no customer intervention. Right now, the feature is available for Visa, Mastercard, and Discover cards that are used for recurring billing and customer profiles. The system is able to update all cards (not just default) under each customer profile.
