Sales Order Deposit
To do a deposit on a Sales Order inside of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, you will first want to open up the iPayments window by going to Actions>>iPayments.
From there, you will want to select the card on profile or enter a new card and select Deposit under Actions>>Deposit. Upon success, a cash receipts journal will be created on the customers ledger.
The deposit will be displayed on the Sales Order. Upon posting the invoice, the deposit will be applied to the invoice.
Your customer will be emailed a Payment Receipt_S-ORD101083 with the deposit information.
