Solving Manual Operational Bottlenecks

In 2022, the company worked with Stoneridge Software to transition from an on-premises Dynamics NAV system to Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC), unlocking the benefits of a modern SaaS platform. Before the migration, the finance team manually processed credit card and ACH payments—a time-consuming task that required one employee to dedicate an entire day each week just to run credit card transactions.

To streamline operations and enhance customer experience, Door Controls USA implemented iPayments Advanced from iSolutions within their BC environment. This integration introduced embedded Click to Pay links directly on invoices, not just in emails, making it easier for customers to pay quickly and securely.

“With the ACH features and Click to Pay, we’ve seen faster payments from customers,” said Kylee Moore, AR Supervisor.

With the Customer Portal, Door Controls provides order visibility for their customers, and when an order is ready to ship, the customer can pay immediately.

“The portal gets great feedback—it’s convenient because customers can view their orders and invoices. It has sped up both payments and fulfillment by being innovative, available, economical, reliable,” said Kylee.

The AR team has gained significant efficiencies by securely storing credit card information within the solution, allowing them to automatically apply payments as soon as an order is ready. All card data is tokenized, ensuring full compliance and security. For accounts without a card on file, the system automatically sends an invoice via email with a built-in Click to Pay link, streamlining the payment process and reducing delays.

“The product is self-explanatory to navigate and easy to explain to customers. It’s not complicated. It’s simple,” said Kylee.
